Jhunjhunu Businessman’s Tragic Suicide Over Rape Allegations Sparks Investigation

Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan: Yunus Khan, a businessman aged 49 who was from Jhunjhunu, tragically lost his life early on a Monday morning, close to the Angasar Road bridge in Jhunjhunu. Khan, who had an establishment for salons as well as a nursing school in Jaipur, reported that he had taken the life of his wife by cutting his wrist. The suicide note of five pages found in his possession reveals deeply disturbing accusations of extortion, deceitful claims, and being betrayed.
The event has shocked the local population, drawing the spotlight on issues of unlawful abuse, threats, and allegations of harassment. Police are conducting an extensive inquiry into the incident in light of the suicide note that identified five people suspected to be the ones responsible for Khan’s suicide.
The Incident
Around 8 a.m., Jhunjhunu’s Sadar Police Station received an emergency call describing a man who was lying in a pool of blood close to the Angasar Road bridge. The local police arrived at the spot and identified the dead as Yunus Khan.
According to Mangilal, who is the SHO for the Sadar Police Station, a suicide note discovered in Khan’s garments outlined the causes and gave the names of those whom he blamed for his tragic choice. The note referred to a young woman and her mother, as well as her brother, and two police officers. It also detailed allegations of false rape as well as threats to extort Khan.
Khan’s Heartbreaking Suicide Note
The suicide note of five pages is a sign of Khan’s despair and lack of ability to take the humiliation and threat posed by persistent claims. Khan has denied with absolute certainty allegations of rape by a former worker at his salon. He also involved her and her relatives, along with others, in an alleged exorbitant attempt.
The letter contains a story of an incident that occurred on the day before his demise. Khan said that the woman’s mother and the other forced him to hand over Rs 15 lakh. They threatened him that if he didn’t adhere, he could face jail time based on their claims.

“I didn’t rape the girl. What do I have to say to my precious son and daughter in the present, and how do I confront my wife, who has always stood by me?” Khan wrote in his letter. “I was trying to get on the shoulders of my mom and daughter, but they refused to take me seriously. I’m not going to live such a shameful life.”
The letter expressed his deep regrets to his family and friends for killing himself, while insisting on his innocence over and over again. In the letter, he also asked that his body be taken to the salon for his funeral because he believed that this would give him peace after passing away.
Pattern of Allegations and Financial Strain
The suicide note goes on to elaborate on the experiences of Khan with her accused as well as her mother. Khan claimed that the female’s family members had abused their relationships with a variety of men before and outlined instances involving people in Mumbai as well as Jaipur. Prior to the demand of $15 lakh, Khan claimed he had already given the sum of Rs 4.8 lakh in order to settle earlier charges.
Furthermore, Khan’s letter referred to another cause of stress, which was his nursing college friend, Ajay Bhalothia. Khan has accused Bhalothia of financial fraud, taking money from Khan’s account and bringing a string of fake cases against him in 2012. Khan said, “Half of my life was ruined by this girl and half by Ajay Bhalothia.”
The letter expressed the hopes that the law will eventually make these people accountable for their conduct and stop the same harm from happening to others.
Ongoing Investigations
Responding swiftly, the police initiated the case on the basis of the complaint of Khan’s daughter, Noora Ali. Police confirmed that the probe of the claims is ongoing. SHO Mangilal declared, “A full investigation has begun into the allegations as well as the circumstances that led to Khan’s death. Everyone named as suicide victims will be investigated, and the law will follow the course it wants.”
Final Request to Family
In spite of the seriousness of the accusations, Khan declared his gratitude and love to his family members in his last words. “My regards to the members of my family… I am sorry for all of you. I’m leaving with a mess of turbulent waters. Thank you for your understanding… Please forgive me. Would like to ask for you not to misunderstand me.”
Khan added his desire that the salon would be able to continue its growth with the support of his family, as he instructed them to make sure that the employees did not face issues with finances. The last wish he had was that his body be kept out at the entrance of the salon 2 minutes prior to burial as an act of respect and goodbye.
Community Reactions
Khan’s passing caused the Jhunjhunu community to be in shock. Clients, neighbors, and family members have described him as a hard-working and patient man who aided numerous people through his work as well as his contributions to his local community. His death tragically sparked discussion about the misuse of legal systems as well as the psychological impact of false allegations.
Next Steps
The police investigation is still active, and their conclusions will determine the truthfulness of the claims Khan wrote within his note of suicide. Mental health experts and legal advocates stress the importance of security systems for support and protections under the law to stop such events from happening in the future.
