Shocking U-Turn in Noida Dowry Case: Allegations Hit Victim’s Own Family

The ongoing Noida Dowry Case involving Nikki Bhati’s tragic death has taken an unexpected and dramatic turn. Nikki Bhati’s family accused her husband, in-laws, and others of dowry abuse. Now, the Bhati family has been implicated in a new set of allegations.

Minakshi is the estranged spouse of Rohit Payla, Nikki Bhati’s brother. Minakshi claims that her Payla in-laws also harassed her about dowry. The Noida Dowry Case has taken on a whole new dimension with the accusation that the same family that positioned itself as the victims is now accused of the same crime. Nikki Bhati’s family accused her husband, in-laws, and her family of dowry abuse. Now a similar charge has been leveled against Nikki’s own family.

Minakshi Payla, 31, married Rohit in 2016 and stated her family gave a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz as dowry. She claims that her in-laws sold the car, calling it “inauspicious,” then demanded additional money and a Scorpio SUV. Minakshi’s family says that after they failed to meet her inlaws’ demands, Minakshi was sent home.

The village panchayat was called in to try and resolve this escalating conflict. The panchayat reportedly proposed two solutions. Either the Paylas return to Minakshi’s the 35 lakh rupees spent on her wedding in order to facilitate Minakshi’s remarriage, or the family accepts her back into their home. However, the conflict remained unresolved. Minakshi claims that Nikki’s father, Bhikhari Payla, and the other family members never accepted her.

Rohit Payla refused to comment when asked about the allegations of his estranged spouse. I don’t wish to comment on the matter. “These are mere accusations,” he said. Another individual from the Payla clan acknowledged that domestic conflicts occur in all homes, saying, “Fights are commonplace.” We did not burn her, but tensions between the two families had reached a point where firearms were drawn. The story of the Noida Dowry Case, as it continues to develop, is significantly complicated by this new information.
