Actress Lakshmi Menon: According to the local authorities, Malayalam actor Lakshmi Menon is implicated in an assault and kidnapping case in Kochi involving a computer professional. She is currently on the run while police investigate her role.
Putta Vimaladitya, the Kochi City police commissioner, confirmed the actress Lakshmi Menon was named in the criminal Case as one of its accused. According to Kochi City Police Commissioner Putta Vimaladitya, actress Lakshmi Menon has absconded. He said that she is involved in the kidnapping of an IT worker and her assault. Three other suspects have already been arrested, and there are ongoing investigations into her involvement.
This incident happened after a disagreement between two groups in a bar near Kochi. Aliyar Saleem of Aluva filed a complaint alleging that actress Lakshmi Menon, Mithun, and Aneesh were part of a group, along with another friend. The initial confrontation began in the restaurant before it escalated onto the street.
According to the complainant, around 11:45 pm, in front of the North Railway Overbridge, his car was stopped, and he was forcedly removed. Saleem, according to the First Information Report(FIR), was forced into an accused vehicle and assaulted on the face and the body. Before being dropped at the Aluva – Paravur intersection, Saleem reported that he was threatened with serious consequences.
Two of the accused have been arrested by the police. Mithun, a resident of Aluva, and Aneesh from Paravur, respectively, have been taken into custody. The investigating team has been conducting an in-depth investigation into Lakshmi Menon’s involvement, specifically with the incident of alleged kidnapping.
