Pune Rave Party Raid: Former Minister Rohini khadse son-in-law among 7 Arrest
Pune (Maharashtra) – The Pune City Police raided a Kharadi apartment late at night and discovered an alleged rave party with drugs and alcohol. Seven people were arrested in a rave party raid carried out early on Sunday by the Crime Branch. One of them was Pranjal Khadse, the husband of Nationalist Congress Party leader Rohini Khadse, and son-in-law of former Maharashtra Minister Eknath Khewalkar.
Police officials claim that the raid occurred at 3 am after receiving specific intelligence regarding suspicious activity at the site, which indicated a rave. Cocaine, marijuana and alcohol were among the substances recovered at the scene. Preliminary tests confirmed these illegal substances.
Two women, five men and Pranjal Kewalkar are among those detained. The process of formally arresting Khewalkar, according to law enforcement officials, is in full swing. Amitesh Kumru, Pune Police Commissioner, confirmed that “He was detained and will be arrested shortly.”
According to a senior Crime Branch officer, the drugs confiscated, which included cocaine and marijuana, had been tested on-site. The incident demonstrates our dedication to fighting drug-related crimes in the city.
Detained individuals will be charged with drug consumption and possession under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Police in Pune have vowed to continue vigilance against criminal activities and take action. They also reiterated the zero-tolerance message for drug abuse.
