MBA Student murder investigation launched after body found in Indore classmate’s home

Indore MBA Student Murder: The murderous attack on a 24 year-old MBA student murder has shocked Indore. On Friday, the victim’s decomposing and naked body was found in her classmate Piyush Dhanotia’s rented apartment. According to police reports, strangulation signs were discovered on her neck. The discovery followed the distribution of a disturbing video in a WhatsApp group.
On Tuesday, the tragic events that led to the murder of an MBA student began. She had gone with her father earlier that day to change her birth certificate. She told her family she would attend Dhanotia’s birthday party and return by 11 pm. Her family searched for her after she didn’t return home and switched off her phone.

The student posted an explicit video from her phone in the WhatsApp group of her college later that evening. The victim was clearly visible, but the face of the person involved in the incident was covered with emojis. The college management removed the video on Wednesday and called the victim’s father. The family then approached the Pandharinath Police Station to file a complaint regarding the missing persons. According to the family, despite repeated pleas for urgency, an initial investigation was not conducted. The family reported that Dhanotia was locked out of her house at Uncle Gali in Dwarikapuri by a policeman who had only visited it.
Residents of Uncle Gali reported a bad smell coming from Dhanotia’s house on Friday. The police discovered the body of the victim after they broke the locked door. Decomposition of the body was extreme, resulting in a devastating confirmation by family. According to the victim’s dad, her body had become so decomposed that he could only recognize her from her socks.
The initial medical examinations indicate that the death date corresponds to approximately three days before the discovery of the body, the day the woman went missing. The rope marks around the neck are indicative of strangulation. Piyush Danotia, originally from Mandsaur in India, has been named as the primary suspect of this MBA student murder case. Since Tuesday, he has not been seen.

He claims that the suspect subjected his daughter to blackmail and mental torture. Dhanotia, he claims, used the victim’s phone to distribute the videos. He also says that the victim had spoken to his younger daughter about her concerns before her death.
Krishna Lalchandani, Deputy Police Commissioner confirmed all the facts of the case. According to him, “Prima fide, it seems that a rope strangled her.” The post-mortem will reveal more details, including the motive. A manhunt has been launched to find the suspect.
