The National Democratic Alliance has unveiled its comprehensive manifesto for the forthcoming Bihar Assembly Elections. It includes bold promises such as employment for a million youths and financial support of Rs. 10 lakh for Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs).
At a press conference held in Patna with key leaders of the alliance, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumrn, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, and BJP president JP Nadda, as well as Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Jitan Manjhi, and Chirag Pawan, the manifesto was revealed.
Bihar’s Assembly Elections Manifesto has as its centerpiece the promise of providing employment to 1 crore young people in the entire state. The NDA is committed to supporting this initiative by upgrading Mega Skill Centers that are already in place across the state into Global Skilling Centers. This will ensure world-class skills development and training for Bihar’s youth.
The alliance’s vision of Bihar places a high priority on economic development. In the manifesto, it is promised that investments in excess of Rs 50 lakh crore will be attracted to stimulate industrial growth across Bihar. The massive investment campaign aims at transforming Bihar’s economy and creating sustainable employment.
NDA is focusing on providing financial support of up to Rs. 10 lakhs per beneficiary for the Extremely Blocked Classes. The alliance also committed to creating a commission headed by a Supreme Court Judge to deal with EBC issues and make sure their voice is heard when policy decisions are made.
The Bihar Assembly Elections Strategy continues to place a high priority on women’s empowerment. In the manifesto, plans are outlined to develop “millionaire female entrepreneurs” by implementing comprehensive financial and skills-based initiatives. This will provide women with all of the resources and tools needed to start successful businesses.
The NDA has a strong focus on infrastructure development. In Bihar alone, the alliance promised to build seven expressways that would improve connectivity and transport. The state will modernize public transportation by introducing metro rail service in four other cities besides Patna.
The manifesto includes plans for 10 new industrial parks to boost the economy and attract manufacturers. The proposed establishment of world-class medical facilities and the creation of medical schools in every district will be a major focus of attention for Bihar’s healthcare infrastructure.
These promises are comprehensive and reflect the NDA’s dedication to solving multiple problems in Bihar, ranging from poverty and unemployment to economic growth and social justice to infrastructure modernization.
