Rajasthan School Building Collapse has claimed lives, 4 Dead & 40 Trapped Rescue Operations are Underway.

New Delhi (India) – A tragedy unfolded Friday in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar District when an entire government school building collapsed, leading to a significant number of injuries and deaths. Four children are confirmed dead and seventeen others injured. More than 30 people may be trapped beneath the rubble.

Around 8:30 am, the collapse took place at Piplodi Primary School. Rescue teams mobilised quickly and have been working actively to rescue those who are trapped under the debris. The authorities are racing to save lives, and heavy machinery is being used in conjunction with manpower.

Amit Kumar is the Superintendent of Police in Jhalawar. He said that “Ten kids have been brought to Jhalawar to receive medical care, and three or four are in critical condition.” The emergency services have prioritised providing medical attention to those who are injured and locating survivors.

The tragic incident in this region has raised serious questions regarding the infrastructure and safety standards in schools. The officials have announced that they will conduct further investigations to find out the reason for the collapse and prevent such devastating incidents in the future.

The local and national authorities expressed their sympathy to the families affected and promised that strict action would be taken in response to the results of the rescue and investigation efforts.
