FIR Filed After Bijnor Hotel Employee Accused of Secretly Recording Students and Couple Videos
The Bijnor Police have closed a restaurant named “Center Point” after a privacy violation involving a couple videos was revealed. Satendra Kumar is accused by law enforcement of recording 200 secret, obscene videos of visitors and students. This incident has sparked widespread outrage across the district and raised serious questions about privacy and safety in public places.
An investigation was launched after a couple who visited the restaurant on February 4, 2026, made an alarming discovery and became suspicious of the behavior of one of its employees. They confronted Kumar with an acquaintance in a secluded area of the restaurant. They discovered a large collection of personal footage on his phone that involved dozens of innocent individuals. These couple videos exposed a pattern of systematic privacy violations that had persisted for several months.

Police investigators said the establishment actively promoted a secluded “private cabin” for young visitors and students, charging a fee to access the space. The area was located beneath a staircase and featured heavy curtains and a couch to create the illusion of privacy. The accused exploited the visitors’ trust by drilling through the wall and using the vantage point as a camera to capture footage of them. Police suspect these videos of a couple weren’t just recorded to be viewed by the public, but were also circulated on social media or used for blackmail.

Sangram Singh, Bijnor Circle officer, confirmed the seriousness of the accusations brought against the defendant. On February 6, an FIR under Section 77 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita was registered. The officer stated that “the accused would make objectionable videos and distribute them online without consent.” The officer also stated that police had seized CCTV recorders from the location as part of an ongoing investigation to determine the extent of the ring.

The main accused is still at large despite the District Administration having sealed “Center Point”. Police are conducting raids to capture Kumar. The incident is a reminder to the public of the dangers that lurk in unconfirmed private areas. The authorities are warning the public not to use “private cabins”, such as those in cafes or restaurants. To ensure safety, visitors are encouraged to check their environment for any structural anomalies, such as unusual holes or misaligned mirrors, to prevent the creation of illegal couple videos.
