Bigg Boss 19 Update: Contestant Compared to Sidharth Shukla After Explosive Fight In the House
Gaurav Khanna, a Bigg Boss 19 participant who was involved in a heated argument with Zeishaan Quadri about food distribution within the house of the reality TV show, has been at the center of controversy. Many viewers have compared Gaurav Khanna to late Bigg Boss 13 champion Sidharth Shukla.
Zeishaan Quadri, a writer, and actor, began the confrontation by accusing Anupamaa’s star that she had eaten portions for seven. This left other contestants with inadequate meals. Quadri is heard in the promo video questioning Khanna about his actions. He claims that Khanna ate multiple lentil servings simply because they were tasty.
Khanna initially denied all the allegations. He is best known as Anuj in the popular TV series Anupamaa. His defensive attitude and dismissive tone during the fight drew harsh criticism from his fellow housemates. Amaal Mallik, a music composer, called him a liar. Quadri called him the “biggest illiterate in the house”.

Khanna was compared to Sidharth Shukla for his aggressive play during Bigg Boss 13 by social media users. Social media was flooded with comments such as, “You’re acting like Sidharth” or “Gaurav Khanna is Sidharth’s copy.” Another user said, “You can be like Sidharth Shukla, but you will never be able to copy him.”
Some viewers, despite the harsh criticisms, defended Khanna. They suggested that Khanna’s anger was a good fit for him, and other housemates had been unfairly attacking the TV actor. The polarized opinions of the viewers highlight the nature and strategies of reality TV personalities.
