In the case of 1xBet, multiple celebrities are alleged to have endorsed or been associated with it. Yuvraj, 43, was summoned on September 23 to the ED headquarters, Delhi to make a statement in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Robin Uthappa (39) is due to be questioned on September 22. Sonu Sood (52) has been summoned for deposition on September 24.

The latest developments in the 1xBet betting app case follow previous summonses issued to celebrities. The federal probe agency has already interrogated former cricketers Suresh Dhawan and Shikhar Dhawan as part of the investigation. Robin Uthappa is the third ex-Indian cricketer summoned to appear in court.

As authorities continue to investigate 1xBet’s operation, the scope of this case is expanding. The Enforcement Directorate recorded Mimi Chakraborty’s statement on Monday. Ankush Hazra, a Bengali actor, appeared in front of the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday after his summons.

Urvashi Rautela is the Indian ambassador for 1xBet. She was summoned, but did not appear at her appointed date. Rautela, as well as actor Rana Daggubati, were both asked by the ED to appear in August for the investigation into the 1xBet betting app.

In the case of 1xBet, it is alleged that illegal betting activities have defrauded many people and investors out of millions of rupees. Investigations also focus on possible tax evasion by platform operators. The ED examines celebrities who endorse these apps in order to determine how they make money and whether or not they are aware of illegal activity on the platform.

According to sources, the 1xBet betting app case may involve complex financial networks as well as promotional activities, which could have assisted money laundering. According to sources, the investigation agency is trying to determine the level of celebrity involvement in the case and if endorsements of the app were made with knowledge that it was illegal.

Investigation into the 1xBet betting app is part of an ongoing effort by Indian authorities against illegal online gambling platforms operating without licenses. They often go after Indians despite the fact that Indian gambling laws prohibit them.
