Ahmedabad Student Suicide: Class 10 Girl Jumped From The School Building ‘Police Questioning’
Ahmedabad (India) – Authorities are investigating the ahmedabad student suicide case, who died of injuries on Thursday after jumping off the 4th floor of her high school. A student died at around 10 pm on Thursday in a private facility, leaving her community shocked and with serious concerns for the mental and physical health of students.
Navrangpura Police Station in Ahmedabad has recorded a report of Accidental Deaths (AD). Assistant Commissioner of police (ACP), HM Kansagra, confirmed that forensic and crime scene experts were deployed immediately to the school to collect evidence and to understand what led up to the incident. ACP Kansagra said that a diary had been created to document the events at the school. A comprehensive investigation was also underway. To support the investigation, a panel has conducted a post-mortem.
A trustee at the school stated that the student was absent from class for over a month before she recently resumed her studies. She was on medical leave, but she had attended school regularly for the last ten days. The trustee said that they were still investigating what caused this tragic decision. The trustee also stated that the incident left the entire school community confused and distraught, as they searched for potential triggers or causes.
